Trying to hide from the camera!

I am back to posting from my trip in Malawi and one afternoon I was sitting quietly on the veranda and Annika, my granddaughter had 2 little friends over to play.  When they saw I had my camera, albeit at a great distance away, they tried to avoid it at all cost.  So it became a game of ‘cat and mouse’.  I also had fun with a couple of the shots.  See what you think!  I am back to showing shots from Jimmy’s camera that I was using while in Malawi!

Now if looks could kill, I'd be dead!

The long  green flowing material is a very old nightie that Annika fell in love with when they were in Northern Ireland visiting me and  now it is in Malawi and they are still having fun with it!

Perhaps she is a bride and they are holding the train?

Nope!  Well perhaps a Peacock then with its long train.

Thank you for visiting today.  This post was certainly different from last week's Zoo animals but tomorrow I will be showing you a bird that lives in Malawi.

Many thanks for all your lovely comments.  I appreciate everyone of them.

  1. So precious, these images. Love the natural manner in which your grandchildren play. Do they live in Malawi permanently? What do their parents do there? So many questions. Please forgive me! Greetings, Jo

  9. Little girls --and even a little boy---having so much fun!!!!! I used to love to 'dress-up' like that... That is so much fun for little girls... Since I had boys, I didn't get to watch that much when they were little. They were all about trucks/bugs/playing in the mud, etc... ha

Looks like you were having fun with the pictures also... Neat.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  10. Love all the different treatments! Such fun! I would phoptoshop that box out of the picture of your grand-daughter running in the pink that you have bordered with the same pink. That one is amazing!!!

  12. I am laughing with the joy of these children and with you, who claims to know nothing about picture editing. You have been busy learning my friend and have done a wonderful job with these children (Your Granddaugher is gorgeous). I love the motion. It so captures her excitement and I can just hear the laughter ringing out as the games progress. What a lovely way to start a day ... Thank you, Margaret.
